Desert Reaper: 500,000,000 HP behind a 26M Power banner, fighting Pharaoh Zombies. Sources split on Stage 7 vs Stage 8 - here is the evidence.
Loot To Forge Desert Reaper: 500M HP, Stage 7 or Stage 8?
Quick answer: The Desert Reaper has 500,000,000 HP, sits behind a recommended-Power banner reading 26,000,000, and shares its room with Pharaoh Zombies. Three of those four facts are settled across every guide that has published them. The fourth is not: the family that numbers it Stage 7 reads the same 26M banner off one creator video, while four unrelated source families put the same fight at Stage 8. This page argues Stage 8, shows the chain, and then treats the number as disputed either way.
- HP 500,000,000, banner 26,000,000, room shared with Pharaoh Zombies - agreed by two to four independent families each, all community readings, none official.
- Role: a checkpoint, not a farm. Guides treat it as the wall you break once, then push past. The best farming stage is the one behind it.

Desert Reaper at a glance
| Field | Value | Standing |
|---|---|---|
| Boss name | Desert Reaper | Agreed by the Stage 8 camp; one family never uses the name at all |
| HP | 500,000,000 | Confirmed across four sites, all community readings |
| Recommended Power banner | 26,000,000 | Confirmed, two independent families |
| Room enemies | Pharaoh Zombies | Confirmed, four families |
| Stage number | Stage 7 or Stage 8 | Disputed - see the next section |
| Reported drops | Mystic Crystal, Arcane, Obsidian | Community-observed, single family, three pages |
| Door threshold | roughly 26M to 30M Power | Community-observed, single family |
| Boss phase mechanics | None documented | No source describes multi-phase behaviour |
Do not build a route around the index. The health pool, the 26M banner and the enemy list are stable across sources; only the stage number splits them, and no source in the public record has resolved it from inside the game. If a guide tells you to walk through seven rooms, count the rooms yourself.
The Stage 7 vs Stage 8 argument, and why it leans Stage 8
The room is not in dispute. Every family that names the fight agrees on 500M HP and a 26M Power banner, and the two indexings differ by exactly one stage. What breaks the tie is how the source families are structured.
| Claim | Families backing it | Independent count |
|---|---|---|
| Stage 8, Pharaoh Zombies, named Desert Reaper | A dedicated fan wiki, a second fan wiki, a large editorial guide dated 2026-09-17, and a media guide dated 2026-09-16 | 4 |
| Stage 7, boss fight banner at 26M | Two sites that list each other as sources, one of which states its data is copied from the other | 1 |
Three pieces of evidence carry the weight:
- The Stage 8 side binds 26M to the named boss. Its boss table reads Desert Reaper, Stage 8, roughly 500 million HP, 26M Power recommended - all in one row. The Stage 7 side reads the same 26M but never calls the boss Desert Reaper anywhere in its coverage; it consistently writes "the 500M HP boss" instead.
- The Stage 7 side has one root. Its two sites reproduce the same table, and one of them lists the other as its source. That makes them a single family, not two votes.
- The Stage 7 side's stated basis is one video. Its own attribution is a single creator's capture, whereas the Stage 8 side has an editorial site and a media site publishing independently on consecutive days.
The honest caveat is that all of this is desk research. Nobody has walked into the room and photographed the number on the door, so the verdict is a probability argument, not a measurement. Treat Stage 8 as the better bet and Stage 7 as not disproven.

What the room drops
Community sources list three ores for the fight, and every one of them also drops in the corridor behind you.
| Ore | Rarity band | Forge multiplier | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mystic Crystal | Epic | not recorded | Drops in the corridor too, which is the easier farm |
| Obsidian | Epic | not recorded | Same corridor, same caveat |
| Arcane | Mythic or unrecorded | 27.0 | Sources disagree on the rarity label |
Only Arcane has a measured multiplier, and it comes from a single community table. The multipliers cross-confirmed by two independent readings are Diamond at 23, Void Shard at 38, Acid Crystal at 52, Omni at 60 and Solar Flare at 63 - none of which drop here. Because forge multipliers average rather than stack, one weak ore in a pile drags the whole batch down, so a boss drop is worth checking against the ore list before you commit it to a forge.
None of the indexing noise changes the efficient play. The corridor behind you drops six ores across four independent families - Emerald, Mystic Crystal, Gold, Sapphire, Obsidian and Fire Crystal - and all of them appear in the boss room too. Farm the corridor, not the wall.
Bosses do not chase you out of their room. Step back into the neutral grey corridor between stages, drop aggro, heal, and re-enter. You can retreat one stage and kill weak mobs to top your health back up, and the boss keeps whatever damage you already dealt - it does not reset. Both mechanics are confirmed by two independent families, and the one-stage limit holds: retreating two stages does nothing.
How to actually beat it
1. Check your Power before you check your weapon. Across four source families the same diagnostic holds: enemies that die slowly mean you are short on Power, enemies that kill you quickly mean you are short on armor. Power is a damage floor your weapon multiplies, so a new blade on a weak Power base is wasted gold.
2. The 78x wall is the real gate. The room in front asks for about 330,000 Power and the Desert Reaper room asks for 26,000,000. That 78.8x jump is the second-largest cliff on the recorded curve, and nothing in the fight itself is harder than that single gap.
3. Circle-strafe, and respect the four-hit rule. Shift Lock plus continuous movement around the boss dodges the cone and line attacks while you keep hitting - the standard answer on every boss in this game. The mirror rule applies to the corridor: a mob that survives four hits means you should leave. It is a community heuristic rather than a formula, and it is what keeps a full bag of mid-tier ore from turning into a death.
The death penalty is a confirmed mechanic and it takes every unbanked ore from the run, so leave the loot, take the fight, and carry it out only once the boss is down. The prep sequence sources agree on: fill the bag in the previous corridor, forge and enchant, push your training multiplier as high as it goes, bank one or two rebirths, then come back. Ember Stones for the enchant step are the real bottleneck at that point, not ore. The stage power chart puts the numbers on the rest of the curve.
Where 26M sits on the power curve
Gate numbers are not evenly spaced. Recorded banner readings run 65 at Stage 2, 2,000 at Stage 3, 3,500 at Stage 4, 22,000 at Stage 5, 330,000 at Stage 6, then 26,000,000 at the Desert Reaper, 30,000,000 at the next stage, 850 million at Stage 10, 9 billion at Stage 11, 800 billion at Stage 12, 1 trillion at Stage 13 and 5 quintillion at Stage 24.
| Step | Multiplier | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Stage 5 to 6 | 15.0x | Manageable, gear-gated |
| Stage 6 to Desert Reaper | 78.8x | The wall; rebirth count and training zone decide it |
| Desert Reaper to Stage 8 | 1.2x | Trivially clear once you are through |
| Stage 8 to Stage 10 | 28.3x | Second ramp |
| Stage 11 to Stage 12 | 88.9x | Largest single jump on the record |
Two things this table does not contain, and should not. Stage 1, 9, 14 to 16, 18 to 19, 21 to 23, 25, 26 and the final stage have no reliable Power reading from any source, and every source that keeps a table leaves them blank rather than interpolating. Second, these numbers move: the game ended at Stage 22 on 2026-09-23 and was already at 26 stages by 2026-09-25.
What nobody has confirmed
- No source documents a boss phase. Not one describes an enrage, a transformation, a shield or a special attack. Every published guide describes only the generic loop: circle, retreat, heal, re-enter.
- The 26M to 30M door threshold is one family. The same site also claims Stage 9 and 10 are comfortable at 50M to 300M Power, and no second source has checked either number.
- The drop list is one family. Three ores, from three pages of the same site.
- The stage number cannot be settled without going in. Everything above is an argument about source structure, not a screenshot.
- Desert Reaper is not the only 500M-class enemy. Mini-bosses above 500M HP appear in the mid rounds of the Frostbound Tower, the same magnitude but never confirmed to be the same creature.
- Grim Reapers are a different, later enemy. Two independent families put them around Stage 26, with Ghosts at 10 to 200 quintillion HP. Same word in the name, entirely different part of the map.
- A seasonal boss is inbound and unnamed. The official event calendar lists a boss invasion season running 2026-10-03 to 2026-10-17 with the line "The boss will invade the continent" and boss-exclusive gear attached. No source names that boss yet. Watch the Good Bro Studio group page.
FAQ
Is the Desert Reaper Stage 7 or Stage 8?
Most likely Stage 8, but treat it as disputed. Four unrelated source families place the Pharaoh Zombie room with the Desert Reaper at Stage 8, while a single same-origin family calls it the Stage 7 boss fight. Both sides agree on 500M HP and a 26M banner, so if you are using this page to plan a route, use the Power numbers and ignore the index.
How much Power do I need to beat the Desert Reaper?
The banner on the room reads 26,000,000, and the room immediately before it asks for 330,000. That 78.8x jump is the actual challenge. If you are anywhere near 26M and still dying, the problem is usually your training zone or your rebirth count rather than the boss, because rebirth is what scales the Power floor underneath your weapon. A media walkthrough of the rebirth loop covers that multiplier side in more detail.
Does the Desert Reaper drop anything worth farming for?
Three ores are reported: Mystic Crystal, Arcane and Obsidian, all from a single family. All three also appear in the previous corridor, which is a far better farm - it respawns every 28 to 30 seconds, lets you retreat for free, and never makes you bet a full bag. Treat the boss as a wall to break, not a farm to run.
Can I heal during the Desert Reaper fight?
Yes, and it is the most useful mechanic in the room. Bosses do not leave their rooms, so backing into the grey corridor drops aggro, and stepping one stage back to kill weak mobs refills your health. The boss keeps all the damage you have already dealt, so a fight is genuinely resumable. The catch is that only one stage of retreat works; two does nothing.
What happens if I die to the Desert Reaper?
Every ore from the run that you have not carried back to the hub is lost. Since the Reaper room is where your bag tends to be fullest, the practical rule is to leave the ore, take the fight, and only bring the loot out once the boss is down.
