Loot To Forge Races: Reroll Rules, Odds and Patch Timeline

Loot To Forge races are a gacha layer bolted on top of your weapons and skills. Nine lineages, six rarity tiers, and one consumable item — a Race Roll — decide which one you get. The system exists because of Update 4.1, which shipped on September 20, 2026. Before that patch the game had no races at all, and a new character still starts on the common Human Race with a completely blank stat line.

  • 9 races, 6 rarities. Human at 27% down to Angel at 0.2%.
  • No cooldown, no penalty for a bad pull. A reroll costs one Race Roll and always resolves to a real race.
  • 27% of rolls land on Human, which on a fresh account changes nothing.
  • Mythic odds are about 1 in 167 rolls. Angel alone is 1 in 500.
  • Six slots, one free. The rest sit behind Rebirth milestones and Robux.

When the race system landed, and what the patch changed

The place went live on August 12, 2026 with mining, forging, combat and Rebirth — and no race layer. Nine days of players found no reroll button anywhere. Then Update 4.1 dropped on September 20, 2026 and added the whole system at once. The date is reported consistently by three independent outlets; the 4.1 version string comes from a single community report, so treat the number as community-observed.

Date Change What it means for your rolls
Aug 12, 2026 Place created No race system. Power comes only from ores, weapons and skills.
Before Sep 20, 2026 Pre-4.1 No Race Roll item, no Races menu, no slots. Characters have no innate passive layer.
Sep 20, 2026 Update 4.1 Races ship in full: 9 races, 6 rarities, 6 slots, duplicates star a race from 1 to 3.
Sep 2026 Code announcements resume The official page description now carries a code string instead of the patch notes.

That last row matters. Good Bro Studio has never shipped public patch notes — the game description is the only official surface, and each announcement overwrites it. As of September 29, 2026 it reads "NEW CODE:50000CCU" with no mention of races or Update 4.1 anywhere. The update-log rewards in the lobby are the only trace left.

How a reroll actually resolves

The trigger is deliberately plain. Open the Races menu from the top bar, press the rainbow Reroll button, and the game spends one Race Roll. The item is called a Race Roll in most of the interface and a Race Reroll in some code-reward text; they are the same object. There is no timer on it — no community source describes a cooldown, per-minute gate or soft cap, and drop-rate reports show flat percentages with no pity counter. The only limit is how many Race Rolls you hold.

Settlement happens immediately, and the ordering matters:

  1. The Race Roll is consumed. It is not refunded, whatever you pull.
  2. The new race auto-equips into slot 1, so your active race changes before you can react.
  3. A duplicate converts into a star level rather than a separate copy.
  4. Everything you own is written to the race index, and switching between owned races later is free.

The real cost of a bad pull is opportunity cost, and it is smaller than a typical gacha. Duplicates are never wasted because they star the race. A Human pull is the closest thing to a dead roll, and even that is only dead while you own nothing else.

All nine races, roll chances and base buffs

These are the one-star values shown in the Races menu. Three separate trackers independently recorded the same percentages, and the column sums to exactly 100.00%, which is the strongest sign these are shipped values rather than rounded estimates.

Race Rarity Roll chance One-star base buffs
Human Common 27% None
Goblin Uncommon 25.70% +12% Move Speed, +8% Train Boost
Skeleton Uncommon 24.60% +3% Crit Rate, +0% Damage
Yeti Rare 12.70% +9% Defense, +10% Luck
Vampire Epic 5.60% -14% Skill Cooldown, +14% Damage
Dragonkin Legendary 2.30% +8% Train Boost, +5% Crit Rate, +10% Skill Damage
Void-Elf Legendary 1.50% Not published
Demon Mythic 0.4% Not published
Angel Mythic 0.2% Not published
Three races have no published stat line

Void-Elf, Demon and Angel all show a blank buff row in every community capture so far. Do not plan a build around what you assume those three do. Open the Races menu yourself before committing a full stock of rolls to one of them.

Note that the Skeleton damage value is genuinely +0%, not a missing entry, and that the three rarest lineages total 2.1% of the pool — a complete account is a long project.

The reroll math: how many rolls each band really takes

Percentages are easy to skim and hard to act on. Converting them into roll counts changes how you spend your items, because the sample size you need grows far faster than the rarity suggests.

Target band Chance per roll 1 in Rolls for 50% Rolls for 90%
Any non-Human 73% 1 1 2
Rare or better 22.1% 5 3 10
Epic or better 9.4% 11 8 24
Legendary or better 3.8% 26 18 60
Mythic (Demon or Angel) 0.6% 167 116 383
Angel only 0.2% 500 347 1,151

The 27% Human floor is the number to internalise. Roughly one roll in four does nothing on a new account, which is why your first ten rolls can feel flat. It also means the odds favour you early: within three rolls you are about 50% likely to have left Human behind. The 116 rolls for a coin-flip on your first Mythic is where patience runs out, and the biggest lever on that number is supply, not skill.

Spend rolls where the odds bend

Because duplicates are pure upside and there is no failure state, there is no reason to hold rolls back for a lucky window. The only judgement worth making is whether to burn a roll on a duplicate for stars or save the item for a fresh pull. A 3-star Angel is a long-term project, so early on, chasing unowned races beats stacking.

Where Race Rolls come from

Race Rolls enter the account through four channels: daily login prizes, enemy loot drops, rewards attached to the in-game update log, and redemption codes. Only the codes can be planned around, and they are why the race economy is worth understanding.

Code Reward Race Rolls
50000CCU 50 Ember Stones No
30000CCU 2,000 Coins and 2 Race Rolls 2
20000CCU 2,000 Coins and 1 Power Potion No

Only one of the three codes in circulation gives you rolls. The naming pattern is not decoration: the number is the concurrent-player threshold the game hit before Good Bro Studio issued the code, which is why these milestone rewards expire with server load instead of persisting. The CCU suffix is your tell that a code is temporary.

The current live code as of September 29, 2026 is 50000CCU, and it pays Ember Stones rather than rolls. If you are chasing Angel, your only reliable code income is 30000CCU — at 2 rolls per redemption it takes roughly 174 redemptions to reach a coin-flip on your first Angel. Loot drops and login prizes have to carry the rest.

Codes expire without warning

These are CCU milestone codes, not permanent ones. Redeem 30000CCU the moment it works rather than saving it for a planned session. Our codes page tracks which ones are still live.

Six slots, and how this differs from The Forge

You can hold six races at once, and only the first slot is free — it holds whichever race is currently active.

Slot Unlock condition
Slot 1 Free from the start
Slot 2 After your 4th Rebirth
Slot 3 The 7-day sign-in reward
Slots 4 to 6 Rebirth milestones combined with Robux purchases

Because of that gate, most accounts never fill the row. A fresh player has one race, a mid-game player two or three, and the full spread is an end-game flex that overlaps with the Rebirth ladder.

The last part of the story is lineage. Update 4.1 is not an original design — the races are a trimmed port of the layer from The Forge, a much older Roblox experience with races since its public release on November 25, 2025.

Loot To Forge (Update 4.1) The Forge
Races live since September 20, 2026 November 25, 2025
Race count 9 16
Rarity tiers 6, Common to Mythic 7, Common to Relic
Top tier Angel, 0.2% Archangel, Relic, 0.1%
Angel odds 0.2% 0.5%
Perk style Flat stat lines, no listed downside Named perks, most paired with a penalty

Loot To Forge rolls Mythics more than twice as often as The Forge does, over a much smaller pool with no Relic tier above Angel. If you are coming from The Forge and expecting Archangel or the named-perk style with its built-in drawbacks, neither exists here yet.

FAQ

How do I get Race Rerolls in Loot To Forge? Four ways: daily login prizes, enemy loot drops, the in-game update log reward, and redemption codes. Of the codes going around now, only 30000CCU gives Race Rolls, two per redemption. They expire fast because they are tied to concurrent-player milestones.

What is the rarest race and how do I get it? Angel, at 0.2%, one in 500. Demon is the other Mythic at 0.4%. Expect roughly 116 rolls before you have even a coin-flip chance at any Mythic.

Is there a cooldown between race rerolls? No cooldown we can confirm. The button is gated only by how many Race Rolls you hold, with no pity counter or rate limit reported.

Why do I keep rolling the Human race? Because Human sits at 27%, the most common result by a wide margin and the highest in the pool by design, since every new account starts on it. On a fresh character that pull is a genuine no-op.

Can I reroll for a specific race? No. Selection is pure RNG, with no target lock, wish list or multi-roll banner. You can switch freely between races you own, but you cannot steer a new pull.
